The Human

After years of ‘trying’ yoga at home and at my local gym, I stumbled into a studio with the intention of shaking up my workout routine.

I tried a free week at CorePower Yoga and never left.

I received my first certification in 2014, my second in 2015, my third and fourth in 2016, and my fifth in 2017. I have specialized training in advanced anatomy, energy/breath exchange, intelligent sequencing and light/sound therapy. Yoga has stretched my body, my imagination, and my entire being and opened me up to ideas that I never thought possible. I specialize in extremes: strength/flexibility work for strong bodies looking to extend even further, and breath-work (I specifically work with a number of cancer patients) for people who have trouble being still. I am the creator of HABIBI BODY: a rigorous blend of yoga, pilates, barre and dance/movement… designed to lengthen and strengthen your muscles, expand your lung capacity and condition your body from head to toe.

My Ayurveda journey with food and lifestyle is an extension of yoga off the mat, as I learn to move and breathe in harmony with GAIA and all her bounty.
